Hear it for yourself: call the preview line
Call it and pretend you're a homeowner with a burst pipe or water coming through the ceiling. It answers as a fictional company. Use a pretend address. The call is recorded like a real one, so please don't share real personal details.
Preview line, fictional company. It introduces itself as the company's virtual assistant and says the call is recorded. Ask it whether it's a real person and it will tell you honestly that it's an AI.
What you get after every call
After every call, you or your on-call tech get an email summary like this one, with the recording and transcript one tap away. Summaries come by email.

Missed calls are missed jobs
Homeowners call the next contractor on the list. Burst pipes, leaks, and water emergencies don't wait for business hours, and every lead you paid for that hits voicemail is money gone.
of calls to home-services businesses go unanswered, according to Invoca's call research.
How IntakeHound Home handles your calls
Forward your line to IntakeHound Home after hours, or whenever you're busy or can't answer.
Answers right away
A natural-sounding voice greets callers as your company's virtual assistant and gives the recording notice up front. It never pretends to be a person. If asked, it says plainly it's an AI and offers a callback from a person.
Gets the job details
Service type, address, urgency, insurance, photos, and preferred time. It asks your questions, your way.
Flags emergencies
For emergencies it tries a live transfer to your on-call tech during the hours you set, tested with you before you go live. If no one picks up, the caller gets a priority callback. Estimate requests get a callback.
Hands off cleanly
Your team gets a summary by email, plus the recording and transcript.
Built for plumbing and water damage
- Trade-specific questions: burst pipes, leaks, and water damage.
- Flags urgent jobs (active water or flooding) for your on-call tech. It never quotes a price unless you set one.
- Screens out tire-kickers and wrong-number calls, and routes billing to your office line.
- Safety-aware: tells anyone who smells gas, sees smoke or sparking, or is in danger to get out and call 911 or the gas company.
- Your rules: ZIP codes you cover, job types you take, and when to transfer live.
Careful by design
- Recording notice on every call, plus an optional explicit consent question for all-party-consent states.
- No fake arrival-time promises (like "there in 20 minutes") unless you set that rule.
- Captures insurance and property address for your estimate, not for sale.
- No cold outreach. No cold calls or robocalls.
- See "How call data is handled" below.
What are unanswered calls costing your company?
Plug in your own numbers. The starting values are example assumptions, not statistics.
This estimates revenue at risk from calls nobody answers. It is not a prediction of what IntakeHound Home will earn you, and I don't guarantee any number of jobs. Job values vary a lot by trade (a drain clear vs. a full water-damage job).
Formula: calls per week × 4.33 weeks × % real job requests × % you'd win × average job value. Example: 8 calls × 4.33 × 50% × 40% × $1,200 = $8,314 a month.

A guarantee on what I control
- 30-day money-back. Tell me within 30 days of go-live and I'll refund everything you've paid. No questions asked.
Why I don't guarantee booked revenue: I control answering and notifications. Weather, your capacity, and your close rate decide how many jobs you win. You pay a flat $297 a month. IntakeHound Home never takes a percentage of a job's value.
Is this the same as a self-serve AI phone app?
No. Self-serve platforms typically charge a monthly plan plus per-minute fees, and you build and maintain the agent yourself. IntakeHound Home is done-for-you: I build the script, go live with you, review every flagged call each week and fix the script, and stand behind a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you only get a few calls and like to tinker, a self-serve app may be all you need.

How setup works
No new phone number and no software for your team to learn. I do the building; you make a few test calls.
- Day 0Kickoff call
A 30-minute call: your services, service-area ZIP codes, emergency rules, hours, and who gets the summaries.
- Days 1–3I build it; you make test calls
I set up the assistant in your company's name. You call it and play a homeowner with a leak or a burst pipe. I tune it until you're happy.
- Days 3–6Forward your line
Set call forwarding for after hours, no answer, or busy. It takes about 5 minutes with your phone provider, and I walk you through it.
- Usually within a weekLive
Real calls get answered and summaries arrive by email.
How call data is handled
- Yours, not mine: call data belongs to your company. I don't sell it or use it to market to callers.
- Used only to run the service: answering your calls, sending your summaries, reviewing flagged calls to fix your script, and preparing your weekly report.
- Deleted on request: email [email protected] and I'll delete your call data.

FAQ
Does it quote prices or promise arrival times?
Only if you set an approved price or arrival line. Otherwise it takes the job details and says a tech will confirm. It never invents a price or an ETA, and it never tells callers what insurance will cover.
Will callers know it's an AI?
It greets callers as "the company's virtual assistant" and never pretends to be a person. If a caller asks whether they're talking to a real person, a bot, or an AI, it answers honestly that it's an automated assistant (an AI) and offers a callback from a person. Callers can ask for a person at any time, and it will transfer the call during your on-call hours or take a priority callback.
Does my company need a new phone number?
No. Most shops forward after hours, no answer, or overflow.
What about call recording laws?
Every call starts with a recording notice, and an explicit consent question can be added for states that require all-party consent. I'll review your state's rules during setup. Your company stays responsible for its own compliance.
Which CRMs does it connect to?
None directly yet; connections to Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and GoHighLevel are on the roadmap. Every call summary goes out by email. Tell me what you use and I'll let you know honestly what's possible.
