Hear it for yourself: call the demo line
Call it and pretend you're a homeowner with a burst pipe or no AC. It answers as a fictional company. Use a pretend address. The call is recorded like a real one, so please don't share real personal details.
Demonstration line, fictional company. It introduces itself as the company's virtual assistant and says the call is recorded. Ask it whether it's a real person and it will tell you honestly that it's an AI.
What you get by text after every call
After every call, you or your on-call tech get a text like this one (and an email), with the recording and transcript one tap away.

Missed calls are missed jobs
Homeowners call the next contractor on the list. Burst pipes, no-heat nights, and water emergencies don't wait for business hours, and every lead you paid for that hits voicemail is money gone.
of calls to home-services businesses go unanswered, according to Invoca's call research.
is the average cost of a Google Local Services lead for HVAC in 2026. A missed call wastes that spend.
How IntakeHound Home handles your calls
Forward after-hours or overflow calls to IntakeHound Home, or route every call. You choose.
Answers right away
A natural-sounding voice greets callers as your company's virtual assistant and gives the recording notice up front. It never pretends to be a person. If asked, it says plainly it's an AI and offers a callback from a person.
Gets the job details
Service type, address, urgency, insurance, photos, and preferred time. It asks your questions, your way.
Flags emergencies
Emergencies get a warm transfer or a text to your on-call tech. Estimate requests get a callback. Calendar booking is coming soon.
Hands off cleanly
Your team gets an email and text summary plus the recording and transcript. Connections to field-service software like Jobber or Housecall Pro aren't available yet.
Built for plumbing, water damage, and HVAC
- Trade-specific questions: burst pipes and leaks, water damage, and HVAC no-heat or no-cool.
- Flags urgent jobs (active water, no heat, no cooling) for your on-call tech. It never quotes a price unless you set one.
- Screens out tire-kickers and wrong-number calls, and routes billing to your office line.
- Safety-aware: tells anyone who smells gas, sees smoke or sparking, or is in danger to get out and call 911 or the gas company.
- Your rules: ZIP codes you cover, job types you take, and when to transfer live.
Careful by design
- Recording notice on every call, plus an optional explicit consent question for all-party-consent states.
- No fake "we can be there in 20 minutes" promises unless you set that rule.
- Captures insurance and property address for your estimate, not for us to sell.
- No cold outreach. No cold calls or robocalls. Follow-up, when it opens, goes only to people who contacted you and agreed to hear back: email first, text only with consent.
- See "How call data is handled" below.
What are unanswered calls costing your company?
Plug in your own numbers. The starting values are example assumptions, not statistics.
This estimates revenue at risk from calls nobody answers. It is not a prediction of what IntakeHound Home will earn you, and we don't guarantee any number of jobs. Job values vary a lot by trade (a drain clear vs. a full water-damage job).
Formula: calls per week × 4.33 weeks × % real job requests × % you'd win × average job value. Example: 8 calls × 4.33 × 50% × 40% × $1,200 = $8,314 a month.
Every after-hours emergency and estimate call answered and texted to your tech
Start with nights, weekends, and overflow.
One plan, your hours
+ $25 per booked job, capped at $300 a month. The most you pay is $597 a month. No setup fee.
During the pilot, a job counts as booked only when we both confirm it in your weekly report.
Cancel anytime, no contract.
- Nights, weekends, and overflow, or every call 24/7. Your choice, same price.
- Everything in "What's included" below
- Monthly review with the founder
- Fair use: if your call volume is far above normal, we'll talk first.
Two guarantees on the things we control
- 30-day money-back. Tell us within 30 days of go-live and we refund everything you've paid, including setup. No questions asked.
- Live in 7 business days, or month one is free. The clock starts after kickoff, once we have your job questions and service area. Until text-message registration with the phone carriers clears, your summaries arrive by email.
Why we don't guarantee booked revenue: We control answering and notifications. Weather, your capacity, and your close rate decide how many jobs you win. You pay $297 a month plus $25 per booked job, with job fees capped at $300 a month. We never take a percentage of a job's value.
Is this the same as a self-serve AI phone app?
No. Self-serve platforms typically charge a monthly plan plus per-minute fees, and you build and maintain the agent yourself. IntakeHound Home is done-for-you: we build the script, go live with you, review your calls every week, and stand behind two guarantees. If you only get a few calls and like to tinker, a self-serve app may be all you need.

How setup works
No new phone number and no software for your team to learn. We do the building; you make a few test calls.
- Day 0Kickoff call
A 30-minute call: your services, service-area ZIP codes, emergency rules, hours, and who gets the texts.
- Days 1–3We build it; you make test calls
We set up the AI in your company's name. You call it and play a homeowner with a leak or a broken AC. We tune it until you're happy.
- Days 3–6Forward your line
Set call forwarding for after hours, no answer, or busy. It takes about 5 minutes with your phone provider, and we walk you through it.
- By business day 7Live
Real calls get answered and summaries hit your phone.
How call data is handled
- Yours, not ours: call data belongs to your company. We don't sell it or use it to market to callers.
- Used only to run the service: answering your calls, sending your summaries, and preparing your weekly report.
- Deleted on request: email [email protected] and we'll delete your call data.
- Coming soon: the option to get a short alert text with a link, instead of full caller details in the text.

FAQ
Does it quote prices or promise arrival times?
Only if you set an approved price or arrival line. Otherwise it takes the job details and says a tech will confirm. It never invents a price or an ETA, and it never tells callers what insurance will cover.
Will callers know it's an AI?
It greets callers as "the company's virtual assistant" and never pretends to be a person. If a caller asks whether they're talking to a real person, a bot, or an AI, it answers honestly that it's an automated assistant (an AI) and offers a callback from a person. Callers can ask for a person at any time, and it will transfer the call during your on-call hours or take a priority callback.
Do we have to change our phone number?
No. Most shops forward after hours, no answer, or overflow.
What about call recording laws?
Every call starts with a recording notice, and we can add an explicit consent question for states that require all-party consent. We'll review your state's rules during setup. Your company stays responsible for its own compliance.
Which CRMs do you support?
Every call summary goes out by email and text. Direct connections to Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or GoHighLevel aren't available yet. Tell us what you use and we'll let you know honestly what's possible.
What's in the free missed-call audit?
The founder calls your main line after hours on up to three evenings, notes who or what picks up, and emails you a one-page report. He identifies himself if anyone answers and never pretends to need a job.
